- 1 Gi mig rett, Gud, og før min sak mot folk uten barmhjertighet, frels mig fra falske og urettferdige menn!
- 2 For du er den Gud som er mitt vern. Hvorfor har du forkastet mig? Hvorfor skal jeg gå i sørgeklær under fiendens trykk?
- 3 Send ditt lys og din sannhet, la dem lede mig, la dem føre mig til ditt hellige berg og til dine boliger,
- 4 så jeg kan komme til Guds alter, til min fryds og gledes Gud, og prise dig på citar, Gud, min Gud!
- 5 Hvorfor er du nedbøiet, min sjel, og hvorfor bruser du i mig? Bi efter Gud! For jeg skal ennu prise ham, mitt åsyns frelse og min Gud.
