- 1 便雅憫地、亞拿突邑、祭司希勒家子耶利米之言、
- 2 猶大王亞們子約西亞、卽位之十三年、耶和華諭之、
- 3 又諭之於猶大王約西亞子約雅敬時、迄約西亞子西底家十一年之末、是年五月、耶路撒冷被虜、○
- 4 耶和華諭我曰、
- 5 我未造爾於腹、我已識爾、爾未出胎、我已區別爾、立爾爲列邦之先知、
- 6 我曰、噫、主耶和華歟、我乃小子、不知所言、
- 7 耶和華諭我曰、勿謂我乃小子、我使爾何往、爾必往焉、我命爾何言、爾必言焉、
- 8 勿緣之而懼、蓋我與爾偕、以拯爾也、耶和華言之矣、
- 9 耶和華伸手捫我口、曰、我以我言置於爾口、
- 10 今日立爾於諸邦諸族之上、用以拔之毀之、滅之傾之、建之植之、○
- 11 耶和華又諭我曰、耶利米、爾何所見、曰、見杏樹之枝、
- 12 曰、爾所見善矣、我必儆醒、守我言以成之、
- 13 耶和華復諭我曰、爾何所見、曰、見一沸鼎自北而傾、
- 14 耶和華曰、禍必自北而發、臨於斯土衆民矣、
- 15 我必召北方諸邦諸族咸至、各設其座於耶路撒冷邑門之場、環攻城垣、曁猶大諸邑、耶和華言之矣、
- 16 我必宣告懲罰於彼、以其離棄我、焚香於他神、崇拜己手所作者、肆行惡事、
- 17 爾其束腰而起、盡傳我命、勿緣之恐惶、免我使爾恐惶於其前、
- 18 我是日使爾對於猶大通國、君王牧伯、祭司庶民、爲堅城鐵柱銅垣、
- 19 彼必攻爾而不勝、蓋我與爾偕、以拯爾也、耶和華言之矣、
